With Ontario (Canada) in a state of emergency as of Tuesday, March 17, 2020, we have experienced the shutdown of schools and universities, gyms and restaurants, and even our churches. However, we still want to keep in touch with all of you and to maintain personal contact as much as possible. So as a social distancing alternative, we have organized Saturday online video meetings via Zoom Software.

There are three (3) ways of connecting to the Harmony Zoom meeting:

  • 📱 Live video on Mobile Smart Phones & Tablets, and

  • ☎️ a Dial-in AUDIO ONLY option for Land Line Phones or Older Mobile Phones

Computers / Laptops with web cameras

Best Experience— HIGHLY recommended with the smoothest access to options for interacting with other participants.

  1. Download and Install the Zoom Client for your Computer / Laptop

  2. Open the installed Zoom Client on your Computer / Laptop

    1. Press the “Join a Meeting” button

    2. Enter the Meeting ID

    3. Enter your Name

    4. Press the “Join” button.

    5. The meeting number is usually saved in the drop-down history of the Meeting ID input box.

NOTE: If you are unable to download or install the Zoom Client above:

  1. Open a web browser (e.g. Google Chrome v30+, Internet Explorer v11+, Safari v7+, Firefox v27+, Edge v12+ etc.)

  2. Go to http://harmonysdachurch.org/zoom

    1. You will see a page that says “Launching…”

    2. Click/tap the “Click Here to Launch the Meeting” link at the bottom of the page

    3. Click/tap the “Join from your browser” link that showed up underneath

    4. Enter your Name

    5. Press the “Join” button.

Dial-in AUDIO ONLY option for Land Line Phones or Older Mobile Phones with no-wifi and no-data

NOT recommended— little to no options for interacting with other participants

    • To mute or “unmute” your phone microphone, press *️⃣6️⃣

    • To participate during discussion time, press *️⃣9️⃣ to add yourself to the “Raise Hand” queue and listen for the pastor or session host to verbally recognize you before speaking.
